Wow, the summer is flying by... I can't believe June is almost over!  A farm trip this weekend has me soooo excited to get the hell away from work and school.  Anyone up for canoeing August 4? (Stacy, Josh, Jina, etc. this is directed at you)

I was watching a thing on PBS the other day - one of those travel shows - where this woman was in France and I thought, "! I miss France."  I didn't really think I would, but I miss the language and the culture there.  I miss everything not being so hectic and crazy all the time.  Life is smoother there.  People don't flip out as often.  Hm.  I need to go back to Europe asap.  Unfortunately, asap is like, years away.

I'm excited to start at UMKC this fall!  And then to turn 21 in October!

This was one of the most random posts ever.

So I just wrote my Lit paper that's due tomorrow in under an hour.  I love procrastination.

Who wants to shoot me?  Work is driving me up the wall - I can't stand it!  Well, right now I'm just training, which means that the camp  director and I are in meetings all day planning the curriculum for the nature adventure camps that we're doing this year.  He's making it so much more complicated than it needs to be, and we're constantly interrupted so I feel like so much of my time is being wasted.  Speaking of wasted, last night's leftover Franzia is calling my name from the fridge...

So, I'm home.  It feels strange being back.  I mean, it's not like I came back and suddenly the States was foreign to me or anything, but I just seem to see things differently.  I notice that I'm a lot more laid back and I'm better at going with the flow and taking things as they come.  It just feels like life here is so hectic: like everyone is running around like a chicken with its head cut off all the time, trying to get this and that done, make this appointment, etc. etc.  I didn't miss that feeling of needing to get everything done NOW and I hope that I don't revert back to that.  Anyway, I'm glad to be back home overall.  I now find myself thinking about London every day because I absolutely fell in love with that town.  I can't wait to go back.  Anyone up for a trip next spring break??

Well, it's Tuesday and I go home on Saturday.  I can't believe how fast this semester is coming to an end!  I'm already considering another semester abroad next Spring, but not sure.  If I go through the same company I will get a discount, which is an attractive idea, but I'm still not sure that I could afford it.  We'll have to see.  If I went anywhere it would be to London because I am absolutely in LOVE with that city.  Also, my friend Caitlin is going to be studying there so I would have someone to go with.  It's been really nice having someone that I know here in Aix.  It makes home seem a little closer.

Anyway, who knows?  I'm so glad to be going home, though.  I can't wait to see my family & friends and to get back into a routine for a while, but I have a feeling that by Christmas I'll be itching to get away again.  Hence, wanting to study in London.  On verra....
